The ISGE’s Intensive Week is tailored to partitioners who want to extend their range of possibilities in performing Minimal Invasive Gynecologic Surgery. Beside getting the latest information on the treatment modalities in the different most practices gynaecologic surgeries the emphasis of the hands-on sessions is on intra and extra corporeal suturing. Suturing in endoscopy necessary to reach the next level in your expertise as MIGS Surgeon. The candidates are also given the opportunity to enter the ISGE Accreditation system where the Intensive Week is Phase I leading to the degree of ISGE Qualified Gynaecologist for MIGS. Degree certified by the University of Cagliari, the Malzoni Center – recognised as European Endometriosis Center and Italian Oncologic Center – and ISGE. The aim is for the candidates to get the theoretical knowledge to be able to decide or to tackle the disease presented to them or to evaluate their experience and send the specific patient to a colleague with the necessary experience and in doing so increase the level of their personal practice to the benefit of their patients.

ISGE Advanced Intensive Weeks run from Monday to Friday. On Friday there is a practical exam on both intra and extra corporeal knotting and on Saturday morning two hours are foreseen for a theoretical exam comprising 100 MCQ on the lectures presented.
