Caroline is working as a nurse hysteroscopist in the UK. She takes regulary part in the faculty at the Royal College of obstetrics and gynaecology (RCOG) and is actively teaching in hysteroscopic workshops.
Veerle is working for 30 years as nurse and now she works at the urologic and gynecologic department namely the ambilatory hysteroscopy with both Dr. De Vree and Dr. Maryns.
It is dr. De Vree who beliefs in the nurse department! With his support and trust Veerle started some changes in the hysteroscopiy unit (make a leaflet, examination of pain with scoring the disxomfort,…)
Both Caroline and Veerle met each other for the first time at the ISGE Annual Meeting in Agadir. The connection was immediately there.
We did brainstorm on how we could encourage our collegues with the support of our physicians to improve the examinations. Share our experiences within hysteroscopy and laparoscopy. How to improve the communication and put the patient on the first place.
At this point in time we are ready to start the nurse departement whitin th ISGE.
More information will follow!
