Spreading of cells remains an issue although the malignant potential remains low in the orde of 1,6% cumulative risk for ovarian and tubal malignancy up to the age of 74 in Flanders. The ideal is to work in quite a large bag inserted from the side. We mostly insert it through a secondary port at the level of the umbilicus , where we have our optical trocar. Inserting the bag in that position allows to still to work with three instruments and allows for an unobstructed vision onto the target tissues even with a zero degree scope.
