Course 4: Basic and Intermediate Laparoscopic Training Programme
This course is directed towards gynaecologists practising basic laparoscopic surgery and would like to progress to advance surgical skills. The course will be conducted by world renowned laparoscopic surgeons. One of the significant limiting factors to the gynaecologist is the inability to suture laparoscopically.
The course will cover the following aspects of laparoscopic surgery: (HANDS ON TRAINING)
- Hand-eye coordination
- choice of needle and suture material
- extra corporeal suturing
- intra corporeal suturing
- indications for suturing in gynecological suturing
- formal lectures on laparoscopic myomectomy
- videos to simplify suturing techniquesThis course will equip the gynaecologists with appropriate skills to confidently approach laparoscopic surgery.
This being a laboratory training programme there will be only 24 places available.

Course 5: Course on Hysteroscopy
This course is directed towards gynaecologist to appreciate the relevance of diagnostic and operative hysteroscopy. The course will be conducted by world renowned hysteroscopic surgeons and will cover the following aspects:
- equipment for diagnostic and operative hysteroscopy
- distension media in hysteroscopy
- the benefits of office hysteroscopy
- electro surgery in hysteroscopy
- video session showing management of polyps, fibroids and uterine septum
- dedicated training in hysteroscopic resection on a heart model (HANDS ON TRAINING)This course will equip the gynaecologist with familiarising the hysteroscopy surgery in modern gynaecological practice
