1) View through laparoscope of unruptured
ectopic pregnancy in the left tube.
2) Injection of pitressin 0.1% into mesenteric
border of fallopian tube.
3) Incision being made over over site
of ectopic with a monopolar point diathermy. Carbon dioxide, NdYAG
and KTP lasers have been offered as alternative energy sources.
4) Products of conception extruding through
incision made.
5) Removal of product of conception.
6) Irrigation of fallopian tube with
normal saline and checking to ensure that hemostasis is secured.
7) Close-up view of tube after defect
is closed with fine (50) PDS.
